BIKES FOR SALE

Though our inventory varies depending upon the season and consumer demand, please don't hesitate to reach out for more information about machines that are available.

At Bulldog Bikes Plus, our goal is to be honest and transparent in all our dealings -- and consignment sales are not an exception.

The photos featured here, therefore, are meant to capture both the good qualities and the warts of the bikes we are offering.

2002 Buell Blast

SOLD

Just 1,078 original miles!

Fully tuned and prepped for Spring riding season, this belt-driven "Sunfire Yellow" Harley Davidson runs beautifully.

*  New Dunlop tires
*  Fresh, full synthetic Castrol 20W-50 motor oil and K&N oil filter
*  Fresh full synthetic Castrol primary oil
*  New Champion spark plug
*  Cleaned air filter

On the plus-side, this bike sports a hard-to-find OEM Buell full-size windshield.

On the minus-side, there is a small tear in the seat fabric (see photo) and the neutral light is always lit.

The price reflects these minor imperfections, neither of which affect the motorcycle's performance.

With it's low seat height and modest weight, this 500cc  Harley makes a fantastic motorcycle for novice riders and/or city users.

Shorter riders are able to comfortably plant both feet on the ground simultaneously when stopped, because of this bike's low seat height.

At 500cc, this Blast thumper has lots of torque, is very responsive and easy to maneuver in tight spaces -- and, at $1,995, while it's a Blast to ride, the bike won't totally blast your wallet.

The Buell Blast was made by Harley Davidson from 2000 to 2009, conceived as an entry-level motorcycle to attract newcomers to motorcycling in general and to Harley-Davidson in particular.

The design goals were lower cost with ease of operation and maintenance.  As such, the machine makes  use of an automatically tensioned belt final drive, self-adjusting hydraulic valve lifters, and a carburetor with an automatic choke.

The engine design was borrowed from Harley's Evolution Sportster engine with the rear cylinder eliminated.

The plastic bodywork pieces of the Blast are made from Surlyn, a substance used to make the outside of golf balls.

2005 BMW R1150GS Adventure

SOLD

  * A 2-owner bike with 7,800 original miles
  * Taken out of a 7-year storage this past February 2022
  * Gas tank drained and cleaned
  * New Yuasa sealed battery installed
  * Fresh, full synthetic motor oil and filter
  * Fresh gear oil
  * Fresh final drive oil
  * New spark plugs
  * Air filter cleaned
  * New brass gas line quick-connect set

In addition to the bike's extraordinarily low mileage, it has the following added features:
  * McCruise electric cruise control
  * Centech auxiliary fuse panel
  * Corbin Dual Sport seat, virtually unused
  * Headlight and Radiator protective grills
  * BMW GS side-cases with mounting brackets
  * BMW OEM alarm (with two, factory fobs)

The motorcycle is in overall excellent condition, though there are some scratches on the side-cases (no cracks or structural damage) and the kind of minor blemishes to be expected of a machine its age (but still commensurate with a 8,000-mile motorcycle).

Though it has been tuned-up as described above, the bike needs to be ridden for the fuel additives currently in its tank to take full effect -- that said, the bike idles smoothly once warmed-up and shifts, breaks and rides as it should.

The R1150 GS Adventure sports an air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, 1130cc, two cylinder boxer powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a shaft final drive and can reach a maximum power output of 85 horsepower and 98 Nm of torque.  Daddy likes.
